Keith Mouser - On January 9th, 2024 the world lost a man full of mischief, smiles and a heart of pure gold, Keith Leroy Mouser, 67.

Born September 2, 1956 in Ulysses, Kansas, a son of Alberta (Fast) and Cleo Mouser he was the youngest of three boys who were always up to something, whether it be hunting or fishing, rebuilding an engine to anything so that it would go faster or becoming an Eagle Scout.

Keith graduated from Garden City High School then went onto California Respiratory College before starting a long career as a Neo-Natal Therapist. During his career he worked at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City, KS; Anchorage Hospital in Alaska; Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX and most recently Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH until his death.

Working in the Neo-Natal department he made it a point of calling each of his daughter-in-laws after their 23rd week of pregnancy and saying “If anything happens I’ll be in a helicopter and there in less than 2 hours!"

He loved his family and spending time with them more than anything and would do anything for them. Whether it was driving his daughter-in-law Cheyenne home to save her tomatoes in such a bad hail storm that his car was totaled, wanting to become a rancher with his son Clint but they lost 2 head of cattle before they even made it off the trailer or helping his son Rob rebuild his house this past year after it was lost in a fire. He also found great joy in watching his grandchildren Izzie and Jay participate in all their sporting events and sitting at the end of the dock of the Blake Camp in Newark, VT and fishing for hours.

Keith was predeceased by his parents and his youngest son Jon Darrin “JD” Mouser in 2010.

He is survived by his son Clint Mouser and his family, wife Kelsie and children Jaidan, Jon Robert and Andrew of Denver, CO; Robert Mouser and his family, wife Katie and children Izzie and Jay of Windsor, VT; his daughter-in-law Cheyenne Mouser and her daughter Sierra of Holcomb, KS and two brothers Bill Mouser and his wife Cheryl of Euphoria, KS and Dallas Mouser and his wife Karen Of Garden City.

A Celebration of Keith’s life will be announced at a later date both in Garden City and in Vermont. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.

Donations in Keith’s memory can be made to your local wrestling or rec club.
